Thought I would try a spot of mono, seems to suit this image. After a couple of comments I have upped the contrast.

I 'd like to see a slight increase in tonal range for this shot but apart from that I think it's excellent.

I like the textures here but I am unfortunately a contrast freak. Would prefer to see deeper blacks :)

Wonderful, and yes, don't be afraid to increase your tonal range with B&W, unless you want the mood to reflect a somber feeling. Nice job here.
